I am registered as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). In addition, I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and an Associate Member of the British Association for Music Therapy. I have specialist experience in working with complex mental health issues including Psychosis, Neurological Diseases and Learning Disabilities. I also hold post-qualification certificates in Supervision & Training, CBT for Psychosis, CBT for Trauma in Psychosis, Attachment & Neuroscience and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) with Personality Disorders.
With over 20 years of experience in the NHS, I am currently a Lead Clinical Psychologist for a Learning Disability ward where I deliver staff training & support for managing challenging behaviour as well as music based support for patients and staff. In my private practice, I work one day a week to offer behavioural management support to parents/carers and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to children and adolescents.
